Welcome to the Majumder Lab!

Welcome to the Majumder Lab at the Institute for Molecular Virology and the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research.

In the Majumder Lab, we study how small DNA viruses such as AAV, MVM, and HBV localize to host nuclear sites to establish viral replication centers. We are particularly interested in how viral genome localization depends on the host cell’s DNA Damage Response (DDR) proteins and the host cell’s chromosome conformation. Learn more about our researchers, projects, and lab news!

We are accepting students for undergraduate and graduate researchers. Please contact Dr. Majumder for more information. kmajumder@wisc.edu
